We completed our third Soroptimist International Study Tour to Sierra Leone in May 2010 and this, like the January tour, proved to be a very special trip. The tour gave participants, representing each SI Federation, the opportunity to meet the young mothers, children and families that you support, first hand and experience the projects in action.
The participants visited projects in the Bo, Makeni, Tambakha, Kamakwie and Kissy and were warmly welcomed everywhere they went. The following images are a selection of pictures taken by participants during the tour and we hope they give you an insight into this amazing trip.
The tour was hosted by Hope and Homes for Children and our in-country partner HANCI (Help a Needy Child in Sierra Leone).
